Free State’s finest comedian Tieho Khakhau from Welkom, has taken to the podcast world like duck to water with his new podcast “Podcast Lefatshe”.
Tieho’s Podcast is about creating a platform for the people around Matjhabeng in the Free State and the world as it’s called Podcast Lefatshe.
Through the podcast, there will be a platform for people to know about their icons and also help promote small businesses, entertainment, comedy and engage in current affairs.
Tieho Khakhau has been part of the now-defunct community radio station “The Rock FM”, and also worked with Skuzabel on Lesedi FM. He had a stint with Lesedi FM during the Covid era.
“I am a presenter without work who struggles to be back on air, after being on different collapsed Podcasts that people initiated around the Free State, I saw it to be my responsibility to create a concrete Podcast and create work for myself and others, instead of living with the hope that one day I might be back on air. My followers always ask me when will they ever hear me on air again. With this Podcast, they will be entertained by me and the brilliant guests I will invite.” Said Tieho.
The content of the Podcast entails comedy, entertainment, current affairs, sports, gossip, pranks, and lots of fun.
Tieho emphasized that his podcast is still new and formed in a way that will enable people to be part of it. The name of the podcast, “Podcast Lefatshe” has been welcomed and applauded by people.
“We are still on the mission of building this Podcast. We thank Georgis for opening their doors for us, at the moment it is the home of Podcast Lefatshe but we will also be mobile and shoot around different areas” Tieho added.
