The 20206 MACUFE Main Festival was nothing short of spectacular, exceeding all expectations with an incredible lineup that had everyone buzzing. The artists showcased their talents brilliantly, delivering unforgettable performances that had the crowd on their feet.
Bloemfontein trio, Kaya, captivated the audience with their greatest hits, solidifying their status as a household name both in the province and across the country. Thabiso wa Maluti brought his A-game, while a heartfelt tribute to the late Peter Nthwane was led by vocalists Katleho Moremi and Stone Mayo, reminding everyone of the enduring spirit of his music.

Nathi Mankayi had the ladies eating from the palm of his hands during his performance. With fan-favorites and sing-alongs, he truly engaged the audience, allowing them to savor every moment of his set.
When Ntando took to the stage, the energy skyrocketed, with ladies cheering wildly. His smash hit “Asahame Nono” had everyone dancing and singing along, creating an electrifying atmosphere.

Zonke and Lira showcased their extraordinary vocal talents in what can only be described as a performance for the ages. Lira, sharing her journey of recovery from a stroke, inspired the audience before singing “Something Inside So Strong” to rapturous applause.
As the night progressed, the Jaziel Brothers proved their songwriting prowess and musical chemistry, thrilling attendees with their harmonious sound. Lekompo superstar, Shandesh, brought the unique Lekompo energy, dazzling the audience with her high-energy dance moves, even as she sang less than most.

The true showstopper of the evening was Lesotho star, Sannere. Once he stepped on stage, the crowd erupted, singing along to his hits like “Tshepo Yaka,” “Mokhoba,” “Hale Fedile O njoetse,” and “Ke Romilwe.” His performance was a masterclass in showmanship, drawing even dignitaries to their feet as they swayed in excitement.
Vusi Nova capped off the night, fulfilling audience requests with his enchanting performance of “Asphelelanga.” Semito also delivered a solid act, with Tebogo Nkadu and Thembi Seete ably serving as the MCs of the night.
