Christian Culture is a youth movement in Christ, based on the scripture Ecclesiastes 12:1, which emphasises the importance of remembering and honouring God in the days of your youth. The movement’s whole purpose is to bring the youth back to the ways of God.
Some of the movement leaders mentioned that they were previously involved in curating worldly events which were not pleasing in the eyes of God, and recently took action by reordering their steps by taking their walk with Jesus Christ seriously. Along the journey, they developed a strong urge to warn their peers about the danger of living a wayward life and the benefit of genuinely submitting their lives to Christ. Hence, the existence of Christian Culture.
Recently, this organisation successfully hosted its first-ever event called ‘Christian Culture Day Event’. The event took place at Albert Wessels Auditorium within the University of the Free State. Three esteemed guest speakers were invited to share the word of God, namely, Tshepo Lepedi, Dr Lorenzo Matthews, and Thabo Mareka. Attendees were taught about the importance of having a relationship with God in their youth.
Moreover, attendees were blessed with uplifting and electrifying performances from Azania Indigenous Voices, TSL Music, Nam Lalu, and Yvonne Sani. The Master of Ceremonies was none other than the Supersport TV presenter and CUT radio host Rethabile Moshounyane.
Furthermore, stalls selling food, snacks, and refreshments were available at the venue. The latest ‘Danko Is Thank You x Christian Culture’ clothing collection was also at display in the reception area.
Close to one hundred people gathered to praise and worship the Lord. They also received blessed messages from the speakers. The event organisers of the Christian Culture Day Event intend to host more events of this nature in 2026, from as early as April.
