Vrede artist Thamsaqa Lucky Makhanya (YSFXRREAL) is celebrating a significant achievement after surpassing 100,000 streams on Spotify. Lucky, hailing from Vrede in the Free State, credits his grandparents for their profound impact on his life.
His musical journey began at the tender age of 13 while he was in grade 7, inspired by his friend, Siyabonga Makhalemele (Sabza), to write and record music.
In 2019, Lucky received nominations in two different awards, establishing a path that has allowed him to connect with his audience and capture the hearts of fans globally.
His single “Internet Trolls” is still gaining traction, having surpassed 100,000 streams since its release in 2022, and it remains a fan favorite.
The song has been well received internationally, accumulating 100,000 all-time Spotify streams, 35,000 Shazam searches, 25,000 YouTube views, and 4,000 Instagram reels.
Lucky also has a new single out called “Modomo,” which features collaboration with Kbwabana.
