Bloemfontein actress Nontsikelelo “Ntsiki” Ndzume is brilliantly showcasing her acting talent on the television shows “Inimba” and “Genesis”.

Ndzume portrays Dorcas on “Genesis” and Hlengiwe Zondo on “Inimba”, both of which air on Mzansi Magic from Monday to Friday at 19:30 and 21:00, respectively.

With over a decade of experience in acting, Ndzume has captivated audiences on numerous theatre stages across South Africa. In addition to her current roles, she has appeared in “Lithapo” and “Molamu”, a Free State film that aired on Mzansi Magic and was shot in Bloemfontein and Qwaqwa.

Ndzume describes acting as a calling that is engraved in her blood, a passion that chose her. She has been involved in more than ten theatre productions. As Dorcas Sedibeng in “Genesis”, Ndzume is a sister to Wendy and Zachariah Sedibeng. In “Inimba”, she plays Hlengiwe Zondo, a well-known advocate married to Sydney Zondo, who runs an IT company.

“Both of these roles are very different from each other. I make sure to remember which character I am playing, including the language they use, their characteristics, and their behavioral patterns,” Ndzume said when discussing her roles.

Regarding her character Dorcas, Ndzume described her as sweet, straightforward, and someone who often makes mistakes to impress her sister Wendy (played by KB Motsilanyane), whom she loves dearly. Hlengiwe, on the other hand, is portrayed as family-oriented, deeply caring for her loved ones, and serving as the anchor of her household.

“I am a very sweet person, but also a straight talker. I’m my family’s anchor, and I love them very much. I would do anything for them,” Ndzume shared.

Ndzume believes that dreams can be achieved and that anything is possible. She advises aspiring actresses from the Free State who wish to appear on TV to pray and attend auditions, emphasizing that everything is interconnected: “What you want also wants you.”
