Mpho ya Sechaba is dedicated to making a real difference in the community. Recently, they hosted a successful clothing giveaway at Life Change Revival Church in Phase 5, Bloemfontein, donating clothing to those in need within the disadvantaged community.
The event attracted many, and Mpho ya Sechaba is committed to continuing their mission of transforming lives. Their inspiration to serve comes from a deep-rooted desire to give back and encourage positive change.
“Our vision is a world where everyone has access to basic necessities and opportunities. By providing clothing and showing love, we aim to make a tangible difference in people’s lives, especially during the festive season. Our goal is to uplift and support those in need, as everyone deserves to celebrate with dignity and joy,” they shared.
The clothing collection drive was centered around providing essential items to those who might be struggling. They successfully gathered eight large bags filled with clothes, which were distributed to individuals and families in the Phase 5 community, particularly those in need.
“We’re grateful to have been able to bless them with clothing, bringing warmth and dignity to their lives. We’re honored to be part of bringing hope and support to our community,” they expressed.
Beneficiaries included families, children, and individuals who were most in need. Since its inception on July 1, 2025, Mpho ya Sechaba has been making a substantial impact under the leadership of Mpho Adoons (also known as MA Angela), who hails from Caleb Motshabi in Bloemfontein. Her vision focuses on changing lives and bringing smiles to those who are less fortunate.
In addition to clothing donations, Mpho ya Sechaba also supports primary school girls by providing sanitary pads. The organization is made up of five passionate members: Mpho Adoons, Mpho Gobuapelo, Masego Matekane, Qhamisa Kamisa, and Lesedi Chacha. Together, they work tirelessly to uplift and support those in need within their community.
