Hailing from Wepener in the Free State, Nkosinathi Matsoabodi (known as Tee gvng) and his musical partner, Kadimo Thomas, have recently released an EP titled “Rekere 7.8.” This project aims to keep South Africa entertained, specifically catering to Amapiano listeners, and represents their contribution to the vibrant Amapiano genre.
Nkosinathi, a versatile producer, composer, songwriter, and aspiring Amapiano DJ, draws inspiration from artists like Felo le Tee, which has fueled his passion for music. He believes that his work not only brings comfort but also has the potential to heal South Africans through the power of sound.
“I love doing music because it is my talent, and my music creates a special connection with my fans. My hope is that it motivates and educates other producers to create unique sounds,” he expressed. With “Rekere 7.8,” Nkosinathi and Kadimo are set to make their mark in the evolving Amapiano scene.
