In the vibrant heart of Bloemfontein, a new culinary innovation is taking root, led by the visionary entrepreneur Reamogetse Letsoalo.
Her brand, GEHALTVOLL Pumpkin Yoghurt, is redefining the dairy industry by transforming a traditional staple into a premium, health-conscious experience.
Established in 2024, the business was born from a desire to create something uniquely South African that balances nutrition with bold innovation. As Reamogetse explains, “I was inspired by the desire to create something unique, nutritious, and proudly local. Pumpkin is rich in nutrients and widely loved, but it is rarely used in yoghurt.”

“I saw an opportunity to combine health, taste, and innovation into one premium product while also creating opportunities for growth and empowerment.”
Currently in its early growth and market testing phase, the product is available through direct orders and exclusive tasting events, though the ultimate vision stretches far beyond the borders of the Free State.
Reamogetse’s ambitions are as rich as her yoghurt, with a clear roadmap to turn GEHALTVOLL into a household name.
“My goal is to grow GEHALTVOLL into a nationally recognized premium yoghurt brand in South Africa. I aim to expand into major retailers, create employment opportunities, and eventually export the product internationally.”
Her journey is not just about dairy; it is about proof of concept for the next generation of African builders.

Beyond the business metrics, Reamogetse is deeply committed to uplifting other young women who are hesitant to take the first step into entrepreneurship. She serves as a beacon of discipline and courage, offering a powerful message of resilience to those watching her journey.
“To every young girl with a dream—start where you are, use what you have, and believe in your vision even when others do not see it yet. Do not wait for perfect conditions. Be bold, be disciplined, and trust that consistency will open doors. Your background does not limit your future. You are capable of building something powerful.” She said
Reamogetse Letsoalo is not just selling a product; she is cultivating a legacy of innovation and proving that with the right vision, even the most common ingredients can become extraordinary.
