Rising Marquard artist, Modupe Mohotsi Daniel from Moemaneng in Marquard, Free State, aims to establish his name among musical greats with his latest single, “Tsela ena e Telele,” featuring Loster. The song resonates with individuals who feel they are walking through life without achieving anything, as it expresses a heartfelt plea for divine mercy and guidance toward future successes.
Modupe, who is both a hip-hop and Acapella artist, developed his passion for music while growing up listening to his brother’s choir. Inspired by his brother’s talent in the studio, Modupe asked to learn the craft of songwriting, sparking an obsession that has led him to spend the last eight years in the music space.

His mission is to use music as a healing tool, bringing joy and upliftment to those facing various challenges.
“I love it when someone expresses themselves by listening to my music and using it as a source of healing,” he shared.
With over twenty singles—both released and unreleased—available on digital streaming platforms, Modupe’s work speaks to the struggles many face in their daily lives.
In discussing “Tsela ena e Telele,” he emphasized the importance of his message: “Many people are dealing with issues related to home, relationships, and work. The aim is to motivate them. The lyrics include themes of heroism, highlighting how true strength helps one overcome struggles. Ultimately, it’s a call to God Almighty, who provides help to those in need.”
Modupe’s passion for uplifting others through music shows his dedication to making a positive impact, one heartfelt song at a time.
