Born and raised in Botshabelo, Khotso Modibola continues to aim high and pursue his dreams and aspirations. He has published two books, showcasing his passion for writing as a means to inspire others through his personal experiences.
The titles of his books are “Do Not Let the Fire Go Out” and “Tears of Leadership.” Both works are deeply personal, rooted in his life experiences, with the aim of inspiring, encouraging, and motivating others.
“Do Not Let the Fire Go Out” tells a story of resilience, perseverance, and the importance of never giving up when life gets tough. It addresses personal struggles, the challenge of overcoming difficult experiences, and finding the strength to keep moving forward. The central message of the book is to ensure that no matter what life throws at you, you never allow the fire within to extinguish.

“Tears of Leadership” delves into the human aspects of leadership. Khotso emphasizes that leadership is often linked to success, strength, and achievement. However, behind every leader lie sacrifices, challenges, disappointments, and moments of doubt. This book shares personal experiences and lessons from his leadership journey, underscoring the reality that leadership is not always easy, yet every challenge can serve as a lesson for growth.
Both of Khotso’s books are available at the Central University of Technology (CUT) libraries in Bloemfontein and Welkom.
“Seeing my own books on the shelves of an institution of higher learning is a dream come true and something I hope will inspire other people from the Free State to believe in their own dreams,” he shared.
