19-year-old Amogelang Lengane is gearing up to represent the Free State in the upcoming Miss Teen Universe beauty pageant in Polokwane, Limpopo. Hailing from Mokwena in Thaba Nchu, Amogelang is not only a participant but also a driven young businesswoman with a passion for exploration and community service.
In 2025, Amogelang took a bold leap beyond her comfort zone by entering the Miss Teen Universe competition, where she impressively advanced to both the semi-finals and finals. This March, she is excited to showcase her journey and make her province proud.
“My journey in pageantry goes far beyond the stage,” she shares. “I use this platform to inspire young girls—especially those who have been told that they are incapable, limited, or undeserving of big dreams. I am passionate about representing women as intelligent, capable, and powerful individuals who can achieve anything they set their minds to.”
Amogelang’s advocacy is rooted in a commitment to pressing community issues, particularly access to clean water, mental health, and the overall well-being of young people. She actively works to support the youth, believing that it’s too easy for the world to diminish their potential. Her mission is to empower them to realize that their capabilities extend far beyond what they may imagine.
“My faith plays a central role in my worldview. I strongly believe that with God by our side, nothing is impossible. Every day, when we look at the sky—the clouds that remain suspended, the rising and setting of the sun, the beauty of nightfall—we are reminded of God’s power. If such wonders exist around us daily, then surely there is no limit to what we can accomplish. This is the message I hope people remember each time they look up at the sky,” She said.
