Dreams delayed are not dreams denied, this was proven by Kagiso Goodman Mofokeng from Kestell in the Free State who pursued his dream of being on TV.

Kagiso is an actor and has been in three TV productions, one currently in production and another to be shot next year. He is well known for playing the character of “Buyer-the famous gangster” in the Mzansi Magic telenovela “Moshemane.”

The 27-year-old is also a theatre actor, modeler, and influencer who continues to work with various brands.

Despite his newfound success in the media industry, the journey has not been a smooth ride for the actor as he was bullied a lot for his looks and body weight while growing up. Still, the bullying inspired him to work on his looks, body weight, charisma, and confidence.

Being on TV has its own challenges as according to Kagiso, people assume he is loaded with money and continue to ask him for money, frequently checking the price tag of his clothes, and where he stays. Even his mother gets visitors who only come to “snoop” according to Kagiso.

Playing the character of Buyer famous gangster” in Mzansi Magic Telenovela “Moshemane” came as a blessing in disguise as he survived “an almost suicide” and signing the contract for Moshemane is his greatest achievement.

“To young people, pray, work smart and hard and never give up. You are bound to make it.” Said Kagiso.

The Kestell-born actor is currently shooting Blood vs Greed where he plays the leading role of Ngoepe. The film is produced by Sugar Eve Media.

Kagiso also scooped a lead on an upcoming movie “In the Shadows” which will be shot next year by Sugar Eve media.
