Rouxville in the Free State might be a small town, but there is no dearth of talent, academic excellence, and sporting excellence.
The town continues to raise its head in education, with some learners from the place excelling. One such learner is Sanele Mayeza, a Class of 2025 Matriculant who attained five distinctions.
She attended Thabo Vuyo Secondary School in Rouxville, Free State, and making her family and school proud has always been what she aimed for. Not only did she make her school proud, but she was also invited to the well-done function held in Bloemfontein on Friday, 16 January.
Sanele said being part of the TOP 100 best performing matric learners of the class of 2025 was surreal. She was over the moon seeing her hard work and sleepless nights studying paying off.
To prepare for her final exams, Sanele used past question papers and studied a lot. She did not wait till the last minutes to study but hit the ground running from January 2025.
Sanele aims to study BCOM Accounting at the University of Johannesburg.
