Mpho Sikisi has been appointed as the new Spokesperson for Free State Premier, Maqueen Letsoha-Mathae. The news of her appointment were shared by the Free State Provincial Government.
Mpho Sikisi has been appointed with immediate effect. The provincial government said Sikisi steps into this pivotal role, backed by a wealth of experience in public communication, governance, and stakeholder engagement.
In her role as Spokesperson to the Premier, she will be responsible for coordinating communication between the Executive Authority, the Office of the Premier, the media, and the public, ensuring that government programmes and priorities are communicated effectively and transparently.
Premier Letsoha-Mathae stated that Sikisi’s appointment will help maintain strong and responsive communication, which is vital for strengthening the relationship between the government and the people of the Free State.
“Communication remains fundamental to maintaining public trust and fostering a collaborative relationship between the provincial government and the citizens of the Free State”, said Premier Letsoha-Mathae.
