Talented thespian and writer, Tshireletso Nkoane, is ready to dazzle poetry lovers with her remarkable talent. Known for her role as Dikenkeng Magdalena Montsho on Moferefere Lenyalong, which aired on SABC 2, Tshireletso will showcase her artistry at the upcoming Free State Veterans Poetry Festival held in Bloemfontein from September 20 to 23.
Tshireletso will take the stage on September 23. With 20 years of multidisciplinary performance experience, her work is driven by a passion for sharing stories, dreams, and ideas, acting as a mirror to society.
“I will be one of the poets featured there, and this gives me an opportunity to circle back to where it all began for me,” she shared. “People can expect to unwind, relate, and be part of the story. Poetry has done so much for me at various points in my life, and returning that experience is such an honor.”
Elated to be a part of the festival, Tshireletso expresses her enthusiasm for reconnecting with her inner child through her art.
On the day of her performance, she looks forward to the vibrant energy in the room. “There is nothing like the energy from a room full of creatives and consumers of the art. Connecting with people through stories is one of the most exhilarating experiences.”
