The much-anticipated Spring Colour Fest was a huge success, ensuring that patrons have the time of their lives.
The event started at 18:00 on Saturday 2 November and ended on Sunday 3 November at 06:00. People from across Mangaung and the Free State attended the event that was held at the Mmabana Stadium in Thaba Nchu, Free State.
Billed to perform were hitmakers DJ Ngwazi, Hurricane, Les Da DJ, Legoody, and Jerusalema hitmaker Master KG. Peace “Mr Loadshedding” Brian set the tone with his performance warming up the stage as people trickled in.
Local DJs did not disappoint as they proved why they were booked to share the stage with the A-listers.
People who attended the event were all smiles and were kept on their toes by tunes and hits from popular SA artists. Les DA DJ and Legoody set the bar high as their sets were on fire and were just what the doctor ordered.
Les and Legoody showcased their versatility on the decks and had the audience eating from the palm of their hands.
DJ Ngwazi was the first major artist who rocked the stage and ensured that patrons had the time of their lives while Hurricane also did not disappoint.
The main man, Master KG, set the stage ablaze as his performance kept people on their toes throughout his set. The Limpopo artist was performing for the first time in Thaba Nchu, and he loved the energy that was rubbing off on him.
Master KG performed Jerusalema, Keneilwe, Reya Limpopo, Dubula, and many of his hit songs and had the audience singing along with him word for word. His energetic male dancers entertained with their unmatched dance moves. KG’s dancers even climbed the stage steel poles and danced to the delight of the people in attendance.
After Master KG’s performance. Patrons were not willing to go home and stayed till the last DJ performed as all they wanted was to have fun in abundance.
