Music has always been part of Skuvie’s life, since a young age, Skuvie (real name Holom Makume) has been fascinated by music and kept abreast with the latest genres and trending artists.
Skuvie’s mother has always been there for him as she supported him with money for recording sessions and advised him to follow his passion for music.
Skuvie is a songwriter and artist, who specializes in hip-hop and Amapiano. His musical journey kicked off in 2021 and his friend, Multiverse introduced him to the music world.
Skuvie stated that he comes from a music-loving family as his late grandfather made him fall in love with music, and taught him more about music. At one point Skuvie sang in the church which helped mould him as an artist.
The Botshabelo-based artist said he uses social media to introduce his music to the masses and whenever he has projects, he ensures his followers on social media are not left behind and get to enjoy his music.
Toss and Masoja “Nkunzi” Msiza are some of the well-known faces in the entertainment arena that Skuvie also looks up to.
Skuvie just released his latest offering, a single titled “Imali Ye Sassa”.
