Renowned for his signature glasses, Bloemfontein-based Afro-jazz pianist, composer, recording artist, music educator, and music director Andile Qongqo (Andile Q) is set to release his highly anticipated new solo piano album, Q Avenue.
Following the success of his acclaimed albums Q Signature and Afro Qeys, Q Avenue invites listeners on a deeply personal musical journey. Through expressive melodies, rich harmonies, and heartfelt storytelling, the album explores themes of reflection, growth, resilience, and self-discovery.

Inspired by life’s winding roads and defining moments, Q Avenue presents a collection of original piano works that blend jazz, African influences, and contemporary piano expression. The album showcases Andile’s distinctive musical voice while remaining accessible to both jazz enthusiasts and general music lovers.
Andile Qongqo holds a Licentiate Diploma (LTCL) in Jazz Piano from Trinity College London and has shared stages with renowned artists, including Angelique Kidjo, Tom Knific, Gloria Bosman, and Noel Stockton, to name a few. This will be Andile’s third album to date, after Q Signature & Afro Qeys.
The album will be available on all major digital streaming platforms from 13 June 2026.
