Talented artist Majasto from Ladybrand has recently released an EP titled Lepantsola Fashioneng, which features five songs. He is also known for his three popular singles, including Psalm 23 featuring the Bakgethwa Spiritual Choir and Bacholoko.
Since its release, the EP has received positive feedback. Majasto’s real name is Thabang Mokheseng Mojalefa, and he is a versatile musician, producer, performer, and MC.
Born in Bloemfontein and raised in Thaba Nchu and Ladybrand, Majasto has made significant strides in the music industry, captivating audiences with his dynamic performances and productions. His musical journey began in his early years, inspired by the rich cultural heritage of the Free State region.
He first gained recognition in 2003 and 2004 while performing at Macufe with Mokoena Arts and Culture. Over the years, he has developed his skills and established himself as a professional artist, recently releasing two singles on 13 November, 2023, which are available on all major digital platforms.
Majasto’s music is a vibrant blend of various genres, reflecting his diverse influences and experiences. His productions often feature intricate rhythms and melodies, combined with powerful lyrics that resonate with his audience.
He has showcased his talents at numerous events in the Free State and Johannesburg. Additionally, Majasto has collaborated with notable artists and producers, including Troy M, Star Kruss, Matter Tshepe, and Mattcasket.
Majasto aims to continue evolving his sound and expanding his reach both nationally and internationally. He plans to release more music, collaborate with additional artists, and perform at major music festivals and events.
