Ficksburg-based musician Kguppie De Herro is thankful for the chance to perform at the recent Homebrew Festival, organized by the Free State Department of Sport, Arts, Culture, and Recreation.
The artist from Meqheleng has established himself as a rising star in the Sesotho music scene. During the festival, he entertained the audience with two songs from his new album, “Ntata Karabo.”
Kguppie began his musical journey in 2016 while still in school, but he dedicated himself fully to music in 2022, as he received numerous booking opportunities.

Initially starting as a gospel artist singing in church and recording with the church choir, his passion for hip hop was ignited during a studio session in Gauteng. There, he was inspired by a group of young artists who were recording their hip hop project. Motivated by this experience, Kguppie decided to pursue music full-time and shifted his focus to hip hop.

He is the owner of Seven Crew Music, which produces music and music videos for himself and other artists in Ficksburg. Kguppie is committed to continuing his passion for making and producing music.
