Siwelele FC coach Lehlohonolo Seema says the club’s focus this season is to finish in the Betway Premiership top eight and challenge for domestic cup honours after spending last season building the team.
Speaking after Siwelele’s 2-2 draw against TS Galaxy at Toyota Stadium on Sunday, Seema said the foundation has been laid and it is now time for the club to achieve tangible success.”Last season we were building.
Now it’s time to put furniture in the house. We want to finish in the top eight and compete for a domestic cup. That’s what our supporters deserve,” said Seema.

Despite dropping points in their opening fixture, Seema was encouraged by his side’s performance.
“It’s the first game of the season. We expected nerves with the new signings and players from development. We created many chances but didn’t convert them. Overall, I’m happy with the performance.”
He said the team will continue working on converting chances as they pursue their objectives this season.
