Da Weedy
Botshabelo musician, Da Weedy, whose real name is Sello Setjhaba Eddie, has released a brand new EP (Extended Play) album titled “Strata (Streets).”
This EP delves into life in the township, highlighting the challenges faced by its residents and the experiences of young people living there. Da Weedy has been passionate about hip hop since a young age and takes pride in singing in his mother tongue, Sesotho.
Through his music, Da Weedy aims to motivate himself and others, viewing music as a career, art form, and catalyst for change. He began writing music in 2014 and has since produced a handful of tracks, showcasing his talent and dedication to the craft.
