D’General FC, is putting its FS ABC Motsepe League status up for sale after six seasons in the league. The announcement was made by Nyakallo “Ba2cada” Leine on his Facebook page.
Ba2cada expressed that over the past six years, they made every effort to elevate the team to the next level and are proud of their accomplishments, despite not reaching their ultimate goals.
The team had a commendable run in the league, consistently finishing in the top three positions and making it to the provincial finals twice.
“In these six seasons, we provided a platform for almost 150 aspiring footballers, and we should be proud of our achievements. I want to thank all our supporters who have stood by us from day one, as well as our players and everyone who has taken pride in our contributions to FS soccer,” said Leine.
He conveyed his pride in their efforts over the years, stating that he feels it may be time to pass the baton to someone else who can care for the dreams of the players.
“I am proud of what we have accomplished over the years. Perhaps it’s time for those who always felt we didn’t know what we were doing to take over and nurture these kids’ dreams going forward. I have tried my best,” Ba2cada reiterated in his post.
