In 2023, the Barolong Boo Seleka Nation, under the leadership of Kgosi Gaboilelwe Moroka, unveiled a comprehensive master plan aimed at the development of the nation and its community.
A key component of this plan is agricultural development, which emphasizes the establishment of backyard gardens in homes to enhance food security. Kgosi Moroka expressed the aspiration to see gardens planted in every home, school, church, and available space.
