In a heartfelt celebration of Mandela Day, Buang Basadi, in partnership with the Sefora Foundation, extended their support to families affected by gender-based violence (GBV) in Bloemfontein. Reflecting Nelson Mandela’s spirit of giving, the organizations provided blankets, food hampers, and sanitary towels to these families in need.
Sisi Ntombela from the Sefora Foundation emphasized their commitment to ensuring the children of GBV victims receive the necessary support. “We will make sure the children of the victims get the support they need,” Ntombela stated.
The event was not only about distributing essential items but also about showing solidarity and compassion to those who have suffered due to GBV.
