Ohr is a Hebrew name, meaning Light. The Studio offers laser treatment for removing tattoos. They first examine the tattoo, and check medical history to see if a client will be fit for laser treatment. Afterwards, they clean and disinfect the parts they will be working on and then start with the laser treatment. An aftercare ointment is then applied to prevent infections and scarring.

Boitumelo had tattoos on her body that she wanted to get rid of and tried numerous home remedies for tattoo removal with no luck.
However, she found out that the reason the remedies did not work to remove tattoos was that the tattoo ink is not only on the surface of the skin, but inside the skin, and for one to reach the inner ink, it was an impossible mission.
After discovering the high demand for tattoo removal, Boitumelo ventured fully into the tattoo removal business.

“A lot of people missed job opportunities because of their tattoos. So removing them is like bringing back hope to their lives. One other thing is that tattoos are spiritual and very addictive. 1 client in particular said ever since they’ve had the tattoos, they’ve been hearing strange voices at night. Removing and praying with my clients is really a blessing and fulfilling,” said Boitumelo.
Prices depend on the size of the tattoo and they charge per session. Tattoo removal starts from only R300.
