Clr Mahoko Supi from Ward 4 in Mangaung Metro has once again organized a successful Easter soccer tournament which is now in its sophomore year.
The tournament, aimed at engaging youth and combating street crime and drug use during the holiday season, concluded with exciting matches and enthusiastic participation.
The matches took place on 30 March and 1 April drawing a large crowd of spectators.
“It was anticipated that we would hold a Soccer tournament for Easter Tournament,” said Clr Mahoko Supi, highlighting the importance of providing positive activities for young people in the community.
By organizing such events, Clr Mahoko Supi aims to provide a positive outlet for youth during holidays and reduce the influence of crime and substance abuse.
The tournament featured teams competing in the Under 15 and Under 13 categories, with Figo Stars emerging as the champions in both age groups.
