Eighteen-year-old Oleboheng Salomane from Vista Park in Bloemfontein has received a life-changing opportunity. He has been invited to participate in an international tournament in England and Wales from 3-12 December 2025.
The invitation came after an impressive performance during the VKB U19 Rugby Week held in Reitz, Free State. Oleboheng is a Grade 12 student at Sand du Plessis High School in Bloemfontein.
His passion for rugby began at the age of 10 while attending Castle Bridge School during his primary school years. He later transferred to Onze Rust Primary School, where he continued to pursue his love for the game. This passion grew stronger during his time at Sand du Plessis High School.

In June 2025, Oleboheng was part of the Free State Kiewiete U19 high school team that participated in the VKB U19 Rugby Week in Reitz. It was at this tournament that he was recognized as one of the top high school rugby players in Free State and subsequently invited to England and Wales.
This trip presents an exciting opportunity for him to showcase his talent and could mark the beginning of his international and professional career as a rugby player.

To make this trip possible, Oleboheng needs R57990, which will cover accommodation, flights, and other expenses. The deadline for donations is 20 October 2-25 when the final balance must be paid.
To assist Oleboheng, please contact his mother Thakane at 0833953129 or via email at thakanes3@gmail.com.
