Following the success of their hit single “Ha di baje,” which was released in 2024, the Kroonstad Sesotho hip hop trio Caprivi Camp will be launching an acoustic version of the song on Friday, 20 June.
“Ha di baje” was nominated for the 2024 Central Music Awards and features Farmboy from Botshabelo. Caprivi Camp, known as a household name from the late 90s to the 2000s, has recently captivated South African audiences with this hit.
The trio hails from Maokeng in Kroonstad, Free State. Troy Mowsioa produced the original version of the song and blends the genres of Kwaito and Koriana.

Caprivi Camp consists of members Seun Blick Sehaole, Theo Mablazer “Topisto” Mpenga, and Tumo Veli Sebata. The group was formed in 1999, and “Ha di baje” received extensive airplay on various radio stations, including Lesedi FM, Alex FM, VUT FM, Qwaqwa Radio, Motheo FM, and Sedibeng FM, among others.
The acoustic version will be accompanied by a music video. The trio explained that they chose to release this version to explore different genres beyond their well-known Tshepe style, demonstrating their versatility as artists.
The acoustic version will be available for streaming and download on digital platforms.
