Senekal born Jazz musician and philanthropist Chakela Motsamai Lepele has released his fourth album, which is an Extended Play (EP) titled “Against all Odds”.
Lepele is passionate about Jazz music and he plays the keyboard, drums and specializes in guitar.
As a philanthropist, Lepele uses music to give back to community-based charities and a certain percentage of his album sales are donated to charities.
Lepele said Jazz music has the ability to calm people and bring smiles to those who face life’s struggles. Giving back to others is what gives him peace.
“My music contains messages of hope, peace, success and focusing on dreams. I want people to think positively after listening to my music and dream big,” said Lepele.
Songs to look out for on the album include “Against All Odds”, “Ain’t gonna give up”, “Victorious, Dreams” and “Where I Believe”.
The album is available on digital platforms.
