Tshepo Tjabane is on a mission to put his hometown of Allanridge on the map with his incredible talent. The 23-year-old multitalented artist, born and bred in Nyakallong, Allanridge, in the Free State, wears many hats as a stylist, producer, and recording artist.
In the genre of Motswako (Street Rap), Tshepo aims to transform street language into a positive message, exploring both the good and bad sides of the urban lifestyle through his rhythm. His creative journey began in primary school, where he delved into street fashion and language. Later, he found inspiration in soundtracks, poetic rhythms, and a deep passion for crafting flows around street vernacular.
Tshepo’s foray into music started in 2016, as he began recording songs and producing beats, evolving from a hobby into an obsession that laid the groundwork for his unique sound. His music draws inspiration from the BoyzNBucks culture, characterized by distinctive designs, street language, and themes encompassing street fashion, stylish moves, and the celebration of important women.
He released his first EP titled “Home Made Recipe” in 2023, followed by his second project, “Hood Hope Mixtapes,” featuring 13 tracks.
“I want my music to reach a stable audience. Not just hype people up, but to offer directions for individuals seeking stability, helping them overcome pain and enjoy every moment. We are living on borrowed time; this is GOD’S PLAN. Be thankful and have joy,” he shared.
Tshepo is eager to collaborate with established creatives in the music scene to continue his artistic journey.
