The Maluti Transport & Career Expo, is a pioneering event aimed at bridging the gap between education and smms development, the event will take place on the 23rd and 24th of October at the Maluti Bus Depot IN Qwaqwa, Free State.
This ground-breaking initiative is hosted in partnership between Maluti Bus Service and Bluhues Design & Marketing, it promises to create pathways for youth empowerment, local economic growth, and dynamic collaboration within the region.
The Expo will serve as a vibrant platform where high school learners, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), tourism and hospitality professionals, and community stakeholders converge to share knowledge, network, and explore opportunities.
Attendees will benefit from career workshops, skill transfer sessions, and direct engagement with key industry players.
Notable stakeholders participating in the event include the Transport Education Training Authority (TETA), Retail Motor Industry Organisation (RMI), Interstate Bus Lines, Standard Bank, MAN Trucks, DESTEA, Vodacom, Air Traffic & Navigation Services (ATNS),SACAA, UFS and TVET Colleges.
Their collective expertise will offer students insights into transport-related careers, financial literacy, bursaries, training programs, and much more.
Free transportation will be provided for participating schools, with a jam-packed schedule featuring exhibitions, interactive demonstrations, and panel discussions designed to inspire and inform the next generation.
