Growing up, he was always fascinated by radio whenever he heard voices coming out of it. Today he is one of the people whose voice mesmerised listeners.

Lehlohonolo “Future_Mfana” Morite host the Kasi to Kasi Afternoon Drive at Kgolagano FM, an online radio station in Thaba Nchu, Free State.

His mother Maria Morite played a gigantic role in his passion for radio. Maria used to turn the radio on every day at 6 am. Lehlohonolo used to mimic radio presenters and in his room, would play music, pause it, talk and play music again, and pretend to be on air.

Before joining Kgolagano FM, he had a stint at Thaba Nchu FM and Sthiba FM (Sthiba FM and Thaba Nchu FM were two different online radio stations and should not be confused as one)

Gareth Cliff, Roger Goode, Juwisto, and Ba2cada amongst others inspired Lehlohonolo to get behind the mic. Preparing for his show, Lehlohonolo watches the news and follows trends to be informed, his producer, DJ Hloni makes sure that his show is a hit and runs smoothly.

Lehlohonolo’s show entails educating young people and people from different walks of life and also has some aspects of entertainment, jobs, and advertising of businesses.

“I want to thank everyone who was and is part of my radio journey. Boipelo Geld, Tebogo Kotwana, and Dj Stuta, all saw potential in me and gave me a platform to do what I love and excel in.” Lehlohonolo said.
