Sefiso Tshabalala, known as Fifianho, embodies resilience and talent, refusing to let his disability define him. Hailing from Qwaqwa, he is emerging as a prominent DJ, with his mixes regularly featured on Qwaqwa radio. As the resident DJ, you can catch him spinning tracks every Monday at 17:05.
Despite living with cerebral palsy, which presents challenges in walking, seeing, and speaking, Fifianho’s unwavering determination and positive outlook make everything seem achievable. His passion for music has not only allowed him to thrive but has also earned him recognition in the disabled community.
Fifianho’s accolades include winning the Best Disabled DJ of the Year in both 2022 and the Upcoming Disabled DJ Award at the Annual I’m Able Awards Ceremony, which celebrates the achievements of individuals with disabilities in the Free State. His success continued with his crowning as the 1st Prince in a Disability pageant held in Qwaqwa in 2024.
In 2025, he accomplished a remarkable milestone by graduating with honors in Office Administration Level 4 and Generic Management Level 4. Additionally, he celebrated yet another achievement by winning the Best DJ award at the Thabo Mofutsanyane Disability Performing Arts 2025 event. Fifianho is a true testament to the power of perseverance and talent in the face of challenges.
