Hailing from Bluegumbosch, Qwaqwa in the Eastern Free State, Tsheisi Ronald, known as Rapstar Blunt, aims to put the Free State on the musical map.
Tsheisi is a versatile artist, blending Hip-hop, Trap, and Afropop. He began his music journey at a young age and briefly lived in Bloemfontein while studying at the Central University of Technology.

Initially starting as a DJ during his university days, Tsheisi later collaborated with rappers and contributed to their projects. In 2015, he was signed to a record label and, along with some friends, formed a crew, marking the official start of his music career. Together, they attended prestigious events such as the Macufe Hip Hop Show and Bloem Shows.
In 2017, the Qwaqwa-raised artist collaborated with his friends, the SalThash Twins, resulting in the release of numerous singles. Through their record label, they also discovered a new artist, Nkululeko Mosiea (known as Storyteller), with whom they worked on several projects, including an EP.

The eight-track EP, titled The Journey Within, was inspired by the creativity and unique sound each artist brought to the project.
“After releasing nearly eight hip-hop singles on digital platforms, we sat down as a team to select the projects we wanted to release as a collective. We draw inspiration from artists like Wizkid, Una Ram, Manuworldsta, Burna Boy, and more,” said Tsheisi.
The EP is available on all digital platforms.
