As South Africa celebrates 30 Years of Democracy, The 15th edition of the Mangaung Youth Empowerment Week which will be held from 13-17 March in Bloemfontein, will showcase 30 years of Youth excellence and once again bring a ladder of new opportunities to young people of the Free-State Province through Exhibition, Presentations, discussion Panels, Business Development Forums, Industrial site visits, career expo, talent showcase, and networking events.
The event will feature a Young entrepreneur’s showcase, Networking Session, Business Exhibition, Business Development Forum, Capacity Building Workshops, Career Expo as well as a creative showcase.
According to the organizers, the event intends to promote young people of the entire Free-State Province who are innovative, fearless of the unknown, and take calculated risks while providing a platform for those who seek career orientation and support.
Organizers of the 2024 Mangaung Youth Empowerment Week strongly believe that the 15th edition will foster active citizenship among young people, encouraging collaboration to address development issues, solve problems, and amplify the voices of the marginalized.
“We are opening channels to hold leaders accountable through open dialogue and to recognize the immediate aspirations of today’s youth for opportunities and solutions.” Said the organizers.
The 2024 Mangaung Youth Empowerment Week will spotlight activities for youth in the manufacturing, agriculture, ICT, Tourism, Mining, and creative sectors as well as providing opportunities for Young Industrialists.
“We can assure stakeholders and the youth of the Free-State Province that the 15th Mangaung Youth Empowerment Week will strengthen Public-Private Partnerships, fostering business exchange, knowledge sharing, and development between the private sector, provincial, and local government.” The organizers explained.
