Qwaqwa radio presenter Tshepo “Tsipora” Majake has received a nomination for a National Community Radio Award. His name was among those announced when the 2025 National Community Radio Awards nominations were revealed.
Tshepo’s hard work continues to be recognized not only locally but also nationally. He hosts the Thakaneng Afternoon Drive Show at Qwaqwa Radio.
The Free State performed notably well, earning 13 nominations. Mosupatsela, Beezy FM, Motheo FM, Dihlabeng, and CUT FM also received nominations.
An ecstatic Tshepo expressed that it feels surreal and overwhelming to be nominated in the Best Afternoon Drive Presenter category.
“It really means a lot to me. I have received immense support from my colleagues at Qwaqwa FM, including my management, colleagues, listeners, and fans—everyone’s support has been amazing,” Tshepo said.
He emphasized that being nominated is a tremendous honor, highlighting that it proves that hard work pays off.
“This award is coming home to Qwaqwa. I am over the moon! May Qwaqwa Radio continue to grow bigger and bigger,” he stated.
