The spirit of health, unity, and community was on full display on Saturday, 11 July, as residents from Winburg gathered for the successful Run and Laugh with Judy Wellness Breakfast Walk to Boschrand Game Lodge, located near Winburg.
Participants assembled early in the morning at Astron Filling Station in Winburg, Free State, before embarking on the scenic walk to Boschrand Game Lodge under the theme, “I Survived.” The event encouraged people of all ages and fitness levels to embrace healthy living while celebrating resilience, hope, and personal growth.
The Wellness Breakfast Walk was more than just a fitness activity. It created a platform for community members to connect, motivate one another, and promote mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Along the route, participants shared stories of perseverance, laughed together, and supported one another, demonstrating that wellness is strengthened through community.
Upon arrival at Boschrand Game Lodge, participants were welcomed with a delicious breakfast and an opportunity to relax, network, and reflect on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, gratitude, and a renewed commitment to making wellness a daily priority.
The organiser, Judy Mogorosi, expressed sincere appreciation to every participant, volunteer, sponsor, and supporter who contributed to the success of the event.
