After 37 years in the South African Police Service, Free State Police Commissioner Baile Brenda Motswenyane has officially retired, receiving a heartfelt send-off from her police colleagues on January 30 in Bloemfontein, which marked her last day in office.

Appointed as the Free State Provincial Commissioner in 2019, Motswenyane was honored with a grand farewell at the Police Headquarters, Metropol Building in Bloemfontein, where senior SAPS leaders and staff expressed their gratitude.

In a stirring display of respect, the staff formed a Guard of Honour, prayed for Motswenyane, and wished her well on her journey in retirement.
