Qwaqwa-based online radio station, Beezy FM, continues to garner acclaim despite having been around for only nine months. The station recently won the Best Online Radio Station award at the 4th Annual Ordinary Awards held in Qwaqwa.
In addition to this accolade, Beezy FM also claimed recognition during the national community radio awards, solidifying its presence in the radio landscape.
Founder Nkunyana “Skuzabel” Nkunyana expressed immense joy at the station’s early successes, highlighting that winning two awards in such a short time demonstrates their commitment to excellence and signals that Beezy FM is here to stay.
“I am incredibly grateful to everyone supporting us,” Nkunyana said. “This award is a Christmas present for me, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to our team and our listeners. We promise that Beezy FM will continue to grow and evolve.”
The station is also in the process of securing a frequency license, which will allow listeners to access the station via traditional radios, further enhancing their reach.
