As the world celebrated Mandela Day, the MEC for Agriculture, Rural Development, and Environmental Affairs, Elizabeth Cornelia Rockman, joined the War in Waste Participants in a cleaning campaign at Bochabela in Bloemfontein. The initiative took place in the open space behind Pelonomi Hospital.
MEC Rockman emphasized the importance of maintaining clean and healthy environments, urging residents to continue their efforts in keeping their areas tidy. “A clean environment is essential for a healthy life,” she said, encouraging the community to take pride in their surroundings.
