The much anticipated CEO and Champagne Heritage Day Edition lived up to expectations.
Held in Thaba Nchu on Heritage day by Kelly-B (Kealeboga Boitumelo Madikgetla), the event brought ravishing women under one roof to celebrate a day dedicated to them to learn and grow as business women.
The event brought established and budding business women to network, share knowledge and ideas, and learn more about business, its challenges and how grow in the business space.
The event started with a powerful prayer, scripture reading and word of motivation from Prophetess Bongiwe, she called on the women to know that they are like rubies and precious like them.
Sister Moleboheng Motsetse, founder and CEO of Lebone Private Clinic shared her journey and story on how she started her business and how the love for people fuelled her passion to start her business. She called on those present to love people, to be patient and to give them the best highest treatment.
Keabetswe Kekeletso Radebe, the owner and founder of KB’s Cakes, went into details on how she started her business of baking cakes, how she went around the Thaba Nchu CBD selling her cakes and everywhere she was needed.
Keabetswe further shared how her husband helped her when baking and how in turn, from the profits she managed to buys a stove, all paid by her business. She also shared her life story, how it altered her life and how she rised above the situation and focused on making her business a success and keeping her head high.
Another keynote speaker, Pontsho Mokotjo, went into details on how selling eggs became what makes money for her and how she is working to make her business a success.
Mokotjo gave tips on how to venture into chicken farming and how she managed to move from selling eggs to now owning chicken.
Author and publisher, Charmaine Mrwebi, shared how books not only became her life, but a source of income and business. She highlighted the importance of book and introduced a new book she published focusing on Thaba Nchu based business women.
After the speeches, the was a brief masterclass facilitated by Kelly B and the women got to network, exchange numbers, take photos and indulge in a moment of brilliance.
