Lesotho and Botshabelo have once again united creatively, giving birth to a special song that is poised to make waves in both countries.
Thapelo Shale, known as Dollar-T, has teamed up with the rising Lesotho vocalist Mmateng, whose real name is Mamajara Molapo. Hailing from Maseru, Mmateng has been honing her sound for the past four years, establishing herself as a star in the region. Her music, known for its soulful melodies and honest storytelling, revolves around one simple feeling: belonging.
Whether performing live or recording in the studio, Mmateng aims for every listener to feel seen, heard, and at home. Over her career, she has transformed from writing in her room to captivating audiences who resonate with her heartfelt messages. She has also collaborated with notable artists like Ntate Stunner, Malome Vector, and Morena Sway, among others.
