Pastor and the Director of Miss Pure Sparkle South Africa/International, Dipolelo Hou, represented Free State in style and scooped a South African Heroine Award. The awards were held on Saturday, 9 August, at the Mittah Sepherephere Convention Center in the Northern Cape.
She won the Unsung Heroine in International Humanitarian Services Award.
Hou has been involved in various community development programs as well as Youth Development through the pageants she leads in South Africa and those affiliated with the United States, particularly in Columbia.
She achieved recognition as Best Community Service Country at the Miss Pure Sparkle International for two consecutive years, standing out amongst participants from various nations.
Dipolelo continues to be a shining star and a role model for young girls and women to emulate. She consistently provides support to the communities of Bloemfontein, Botshabe, Thaba Nchu, and wherever else she is needed.
She works with a team of Queens ranging from the 5-year-old Mini Miss Pure Sparkle South Africa, Ntombientle Dokoza, to Little Miss Pure Sparkle South Africa, Naledi Masihleho, who have recently claimed International titles on virtual platforms.
“I feel honoured and grateful to God for giving me a purpose that’s so aligned to His will, which is Servanthood. Serving and giving have been a ministry to me for as long as I can remember,” said an ecstatic Dipolelo.
She applauded the organizers of the awards for their initiative to recognize and celebrate women from all walks of life.
“All honour and glory go to the Most High God, for in Him we live, we move, and have our being. Amen,” Dipolelo added.
