Gadihele Maria Mokhele, also known as Pinkie, has achieved great success due to her hard work, dedication, and perseverance. She is the proud owner of Lineage Legacy Entreprise, a textile company that produces and distributes clothes throughout the country.
Pinkie’s journey was not an easy one, as she started from humble beginnings in the textile industry. Her factory is located in Botshabelo, Free State.
Initially, Pinkie sold jeans that she bought in Johannesburg and resold them, but over time, she received orders from individuals who wanted uniforms for their businesses. She struggled to find the right items and colours for her clients, so she decided to make them herself.
Pinkie discovered that she had a passion for sewing and fell in love with it. She purchased her first sewing machine, a brand-new tie, and redesigned it. She learned to sew by using the tie as a mock-up, and she has never looked back since.
“In my factory, we start everything from scratch, we start with the design, the printing, and the entire production, from start to finish we do it all,” Pinkie said.
Pinkie believes in taking things one step at a time and not rushing into anything. She always had a factory in mind, and eventually, it became a part of her future plans. Pinkie now owns a factory with 350 employees, helping to reduce unemployment in Botshabelo.
Pinkie’s factory produces everything from scratch, including designs, printing, and the entire production process from start to finish. Even though running a large business has its challenges, Pinkie loves her work and is always able to overcome any obstacles she faces.
Pinkie continues to grow her business and has big plans for the future. She hopes to leave a legacy for others who want to venture into the textile industry.
Pinkie also finds joy in creating job opportunities and decreasing unemployment in her community. Her goal is to open branches of her company in every province in South Africa, as they currently deliver all over the country.
“I want to see myself having branches in every province. We deliver all over the country so I want to open branches countrywide” Said Pinkie.
