Motheo FM Management and staff were over the moon as Interstate Bus Lines blessed them with a VW Carevelle vehicle on Friday.
The handover was held at the Station and attended by presenters, Board Chairperson Tshwaro Mothibi, Station Manager Lebogang Matolong, and also in attendance was Dr Zenzile “Jacobeth” November and Vuyo Ondala from IBL.
The handover of the vehicle brought much excitement to the number 1 community radio station in the Free State which has been soaring and continues to grow in mammoth strength and numbers.
Speaking to Free State World, Motheo FM Station Manager Lebogang Matolong said the vehicle donation to the station is one of the many milestones they planned to achieve, and through IBL’s help, they will be able to do a proper outreach and the donation is part of their sales strategies to grow the station’s revenue for the betterment of the station and revenue.
“We are truly grateful for this vehicle, it is not just a Caracara to loiter around with but it’s a Caraca that will be going in and out of the city throughout our respective broadcasting space where we will be getting in touch with the community,” Matolong remarked.
