Former Lesedi FM sports commentator Malefetsane Moreki, returns to the airwaves by joining Nkunyana Nkunyana “Skuzabell” on Beezy FM.

Moreki was born and bred in Qwaqwa. His passion for radio in general began when he was still a teenager. According to Moreki, he used to sleep with the radio playing all night long, indulging in all kinds of shows including sports and entertainment.

His love for radio grew more with the influence of the likes of the late sports commentator, Sello Thulo, back in the days of Radio Sesotho. He was also mesmerized by radio veteran Dr. Chomane Chomane’s talent and creativity.

“I was inspired by the late Sello Thulo, may his soul rest in peace. Radio veteran Dr. Chomane Chomane also fueled my love for radio. Those two great men are my icons and role models,” said Moreki.

Moreki’s radio journey began in 2015 when he was invited to audition for a role at Lesedi FM. He was then given a role as a presenter of Dipapadi sports show which aired on Saturdays and Sundays. He hosted the show from 2015 to 2023. He was also involved in sports commentary during those 8 years.

“I was invited for the auditions on the 9 th of March in 2015 and I passed those auditions with distinctions under the guardianship of Mr. Wire Khoali, Christopher Choane and former station manager Ms. Puleng Thulo,” he added.

Moreki mentioned that he is still passionate about radio, still vibrant and well informed, which is why he took the initiative of going back to do what he loves the most. He is excited to be back in the entertaining world of sports, by doing sports bulletins and updates during the week, as well as hosting a show called Dinaledi Sports Show, also from Monday to Friday at 7 to 8 pm.

“I am excited to be live on air and nothing else. Listen to Beezy FM 24 hours, you won’t regret it,” concluded Moreki.
