Growing up in a Christian family has sharpened the Rosendal-born Tefo ‘TeeySbakz’ Sebakeng to becoming the talented musician he is today.
Hailing from Mautse in Rosendal, the musician later moved to Meqheleng in Ficksburg, Free State where he met music heartthrob’s Bondo, Tippsy Da Great, Bra Kholz, Matsela Monyane. These are the people who inspired and positively impacted his musical prowess.
TeeySbakz, as he is renowned in music circles, is also the founder of the ‘W.A.F_Musiik’ band which he started in 2021. Besides entertaining music lovers with his powerful tunes, TeeySbakz is a songwriter, composer, Producer, creative Music Director, vocalist, and keyboardist to mention a few of his capabilities.
Last year, TeeySbakz walked away with the Best Afro Pop/Soul Artist of the Year and Best Adult Contempo Artist of the Year at the Central Music Awards held in the City of Roses.
‘Moratuoa’ TeeySbakz debut single catapulted him to be a fan favourite and got him noticed on social media. He featured his band on the song.
