Team Metsi began creating content in April 2025, planning meticulously to ensure their videos appealed broadly and brought joy to viewers.
Their rapid rise to fame has made them household names, and fans can’t seem to get enough of their comedic takes. Their content is widely shared across social media platforms, and Nyathi also features in comedic skits with popular figures like Shebeshxt and Ntate Thuso, further boosting his recognition.
Metsi Waterman Nyathi has even earned a nomination for “Best Content Creator/Influencer” at the 2026 Mzansi Arts and Media Awards.
