The Tokologo Community Development Program, a Non-Profit Organisation based in the small town of Hertzogville in the Free State, is on a mission to revive the arts in the area.

Pule Mphokela, the founder of Karabo Arts and Troupe, is leading this initiative alongside his dedicated team, aiming not only to rejuvenate the arts in Hertzogville but also to benefit the wider Tokologo Municipality.

Pule serves as the Chairperson of the Tokologo Community Development Program (TCDP). The Tokologo Municipality has provided the NPO with an Arts and Culture Centre Office to operate from, thanks to the support of Mpho Mogaetsho, the Lejweleputswa Deputy Director of Arts and Culture, and Municipal Manager Mpho Sehloho.

However, the organization is seeking help to get the office fully operational and is reaching out for sponsors and stakeholders to assist with resources for renovation, office equipment, and anything that can help initiate their work.

The Arts and Culture Centre in Hertzogville is currently undergoing renovations, with the goal of creating a functional and welcoming space for community engagement and creative activities.

“By supporting these needs, the community can benefit from a vibrant arts and culture centre through the Tokologo Community Development Program. We welcome partnerships and donations to make this vision a reality,” stated Pule Mphokela.
